AI Reality Check: What It Means For Our Kids, Jobs, Resources & Future

About this event

Join us at Sahara West Library for an honest conversation about how AI is already shaping life in Nevada – from your kids' classrooms to your job to the resources your community depends on. This event is for parents, workers, students, and anyone who wants to understand what's really happening instead of just hearing the hype or the fear.

You'll hear clear, straightforward information about where AI stands today and the choices Nevada faces in the years ahead. You'll have the chance to ask questions, share what you're seeing in your own life, and talk with neighbors who care about the same things you do. We'll focus on practical concerns – good jobs, safe schools, strong communities – and what commonsense rules can do to protect them.

This is a small, hands-on gathering with room for just 30 people, so you'll get real conversation, not a lecture. Bring your questions and your concerns. We're glad to have you join us as we work together to make sure AI serves Nevada families, not the other way around.
